EXCITING NEWS – MUST READ!

Today is a big day, I’m glad you stopped by! I have some exciting news to share with you…

I am officially announcing the launch of my new initiative called the SOS Project!

What is the SOS Project?

The SOS Project is all about empowering shelters, rescues and other animal welfare groups by providing supplies, items and other donations that support their everyday needs.

What does SOS stand for?

SOS stands for Support Our Shelters. The term SOS is also widely known as the morse code signal for help, which is fitting as our goal is to help shelters so they can help animals.

How does this work?

Each month, my person and I will select at least one shelter, assess their needs/wish lists and provide them with items that support their efforts.

Our first SOS Project donation was given to the Cat Protection Society in Eustis, FL. They are a no-kill shelter that houses around 400 cats. That’s a lot of cats! With that many kitties to care for, they need a lot of supplies to keep their operations going.

One of the remarkable things about the organization is that they are funded solely by donations and money they raise from various efforts including their resale shop.

My person visited CPS in the beginning of April and was impressed with their facility. They even have an enormous screened area where the cats can get fresh air and soak up the sun.

The kitties were eager to get some attention, so she quickly made a lot of friends.

It was clear that these cats were in good hands and we wanted to help their cause.

Our donation included the following:

– Blankets (crocheted by my person)
– Treats
– Toys
– Gloves
– Sponges
– Garbage Bags
– Wet Food

We also paid the adoption fee for 4 cats!

Thanks Cat Protection Society for all you do!

Stick around to find out who the next SOS Project recipient will be!

Meow,
Odie
